YouVolunteer Project Officer Gryte brings experience in NGO project coordination, education, and community engagement, with a strong commitment to empowering CaLD and vulnerable communities. She has worked across programs that support youth, build volunteer pathways, and strengthen community engagement through inclusive initiatives.
Currently, Gryte leads the YouVolunteer Project at Awards WA, which connects young people aged 14–24 with meaningful volunteering opportunities in sport. Her role focuses on developing partnerships with sporting organisations and not for profits, strengthening the volunteer workforce, and creating leadership and skill-building pathways for youth across Western Australia.
Alongside her professional work, Gryte is further advancing her expertise through an MBA at Kaplan Business School, specialising in Women in Leadership — aligning her academic focus with her passion for inclusive leadership and community development.
