Our Programs

Young people of Western Australia, regardless of their ability, social or economic circumstance, are the focus of Awards WA. Established in 1962, our dedicated team work with 130 educational institutions and community organisations to support over 3,500 young people in WA to empower and equip them with a world ready attitude.

Our experiential learning youth self-development programs encourage:

  • personal discovery and growth
  • self-reliance
  • perseverance
  • responsibility
  • community service

Participants learn a skill, become more physically active, volunteer in their community, and undertake a team adventure. Our Programs provide opportunities for young people to develop essential life skills highly valued by schools, universities, and employers and support healthy social and emotional wellbeing.
